Anyone experience with Kibana geolocation on an Airtime server?
Robert, I use Piwik with geolocation on Ubuntu 14.04.3 and works well but there isn't a high traffic load either. There are tips on their website for handling higher traffic loads. Perhaps Kibana has similar info as well.

Airtime 2.5.2.1 on Debian Jessie 8.2 x64: Couldn't establish a connection to the database!
Bob, Have you checked the other posts about 2.5.2.1 in this forum? Seems to me there was something about adding the user airtime to the database manually on some newer versions of Debian/Ubuntu

Airtime 2.5.2.1 Released
I upgraded from precise to trusty and that seemed ok but airtime broke. So I purged 2.5.1 and reinstalled but no joy. So I downloaded 2.5.2.1 and tried that. The first issue was fixing the python virtual environment which I did from another post …

Errors Installing Ubuntu Airtime Repository and Keyring
I have had this happen recently as well. If you can ping, for example, apt.sourcefabric.org then you know it's not an issue of name resolution and/or internet connectivity. In my case, I found a solution that worked: cd /var/lib/apt sudo m…

Airtime 2.5.0 Released!
Would be interesting if airtime could import/export to Zara. I haven't dug into Zara enough yet to see what needs to be done. An import/export playlist in Airtime could be scripted to work with other automation and scheduler software.

[Solved] Liquidsoap error

Upgrade to 2.3.0 on Precise fails
In the end I found it best to backup the database and then purge airtime, liquidsoap, monit and then use locate to find anything still hanging around and delete that too. This got my version 2.4.0 going - at least at the start.

Using AAC as input Stream
I assume you'd need liquidsoap compiled with AAC support and then Airtime would need to convert the stream to MP3 on the fly.
