We've disabled it on purpose as there was a bug with the upgrade process. 1.8.2 will be released on Wednesday with lots of great fixes and improvements.

Dear Paul,
I see it's been a while since the 1.8.2 release was expected.
May I ask you to send me the (link to) the 1.8.1 as I need to just test it on an Amazon EC2 infrastructure, as I emailed you earlier.
Or, can you please advice if the manual installation will do?

Nevermind! I (almost) succeede with the manual install.
However, no sound in the stream, and OnAir is not lit when 'broadcasting' playlists - but that's for another thread.
I have to add my two cents to the blocking of the .deb files by changing permissions. I think this is not a good procedure for dealing with buggy source. There will always be bugs. There needs to be at least one binary available for those who don't want to untar and install from the wiki even if it is buggy. That is what the release notes are for. Once there is one stable binary out, then there can be delays until the next one but to have none is not good policy.

Hi Varheek -
You are correct, normally we wouldnt block the repos because of a bug. But
this bug was so bad that we had to block them - an upgrade would wipe out
your database! We have fixed this problem and 1.8.2 will be out next week.
Thanks for your patience!
