Others have got it working. Switch on php error logging and look for errors in the Javascript error console. You are probably missing a trailing semicolon or similar.

It doesn't surprise me - its is an extended API - it should be compatible with the original

Well, I do that Bob, without problems - except I had to move the admin port to 8080. No problems at all in 18 months, Just set your firewall up properly.

Just for a few minutes, try turning off your pc firewall/antivirus that may be blocking stuff. If it works, put rules in your firewall to allow the ports/actions

In your router, have you forwarded the port used to talk to airtime (and probably the next number up too) to your machine ? And is it the same port both ends?

There is an updated liquidsoap version that needs to be installed. That will probably fix it. Take a look at the new Shampoo, another Liquidsoap based system, somewhat similar to Airtime and designed for Debian - but I got it running fine on Ubuntu.…

Every new month, first few days messed up
If I can find some time this weekend, I will go digging to find the update repeating-show-content code and try to fix it. Maybe it just needs to be in modal mode while it updates. Not sure that can be done in Ajax/Json.
