If you change your ports, you need to tell the Airtime services where they can contact the Apache server. Change to port from 80 to 8080 in /etc/airtime/airtime.conf and api_client.cfg

Airtime 2.1.2 Update Problems
Glad you got the sound working :). BTW, a playlist's creator after a 2.1 upgrade defaults to the Administrator. Any playlists created in 2.1 will have the correct user as the creator.

Hi Larry, After installing the easy-setup package, you simply need to do sudo apt-get install airtime from the command line. That tarball package is for a different method of installing.
