Input stream and OddCast
We've had a few problems with Oddcast with other users. I'd try switching to Edcast which is a maintained and up-to-date version of oddcast. Also, are you using a microphone with oddcast? If so you may want to check that the microphone is …

You can also try "airtime-test-stream" utility. This will help you troubleshoot connecting to your server. Run with the -h option to see options.

Try looking through /var/log/airtime/pypo-liquidsoap/ls_script.liq/var/log/airtime/pypo/pypo.log for clues

Rebroadcasting streams on a schedule, shuffle and repeat
Reply to @Fred+Percevault: Must be a simple mistake as they should be compatible with each other. Try running liquidsoap manually like so: sudo -u pypo /usr/lib/airtime/pypo/bin/airtime-liquidsoap and post the error output here.

Force reindex of media files
Hello, So what is happening is that you have files with invalid file name encodings on your filesystem. The quick way to fix this is to run: sudo convmv r -f iso8859-1 -t utf8 /path/to/watch/directory Take a look at the output, and verify the change…

You don't need steps 1,2,3 but it shouldn't hurt either. Please post the full output of "apt-get install airtime" from a fresh install.

How to Crossfade
This will defn help some of our users. The only downside of this script is that the user cannot customize their crossfades on a per-track basis. This is something that is being worked on and should be available in future versions of Airtime :)

airtime in ubuntu 12.04 without pulseaudio
Ok, so the best option here is to compile Liquidsoap without pulseaudio support. You can do this by reading the instructions here: https://wiki.sourcefabric.org/display/CC/Building+Liquidsoap+from+Source Just make sure you don't remove the hash…

airtime in ubuntu 12.04 without pulseaudio
The newer Liquidsoap binaries we provide have Liquidsoap support built in in the case the user wants to use this audio API. I wasn't aware this would make pulse-audio being installed mandatory. Is "ALSA" selected as your output type…

Looks like PHP is disabled or not installed. DId you run the install script from "install_full" or "install_minimal"?

Hi!, At the moment Airtime is as minimal as it can be for 2.1. However for 2.2 we are planning to make it a little more streamlined (for example the "monit" process is required at the moment, whereas in 2.2 it will be optional). You can lo…

Please look into /var/log/airtime/ There should be a file similar to "installation_errors.log", and may help you troubleshoot the problem.

Input stream and OddCast
It may be that you are using mono streams with the Oddcast plugin which isn't supported in 2.1.2. Please upgrade to 2.1.3: this fixes a critical issue with playback occasionally going silent, as well as supports mono input streams.

update database media is failed
Hi, I don't think purging the database is the problem for you. I think you have a file encoded in latin-1/ISO-8859-1 on your system, and Python is trying to decode it as UTF-8 which causes problems. You can attempt to fix this by running convm…
