Ok have you just upgraded from Airtime 1.9.x? First let's make sure your browser is not using old javascript files. Please clear the entire history of your browser cache.

Hi James, That case is supposed to be taken care of (this only happens in Lucid), It may have something to do with the fact that your installation before was not working and caused a bug in our installer.

Isn't Metada in Airtime ID3 files tags?
Hi, Currently we don't write the metadata into the file. This is a deliberate decision, but we are open to feedback.

Yes we only support version 2 of Icecast. Check the logs in /var/log/airtime for why it might not be connecting.

Hi, Next time you can run "sudo service airtime-playout restart" to restart liquidsoap.

Is the apache server on the same machine as where you are running the command from? Try accessing http://localhost:80/api/version/api_key/%%api_key%% (replace %%api_key%% with the key from /etc/airtime/airtime.conf)

Random songs on silence with fade-effect
Hi, The method posted in that forum wiki is a quick hack that the Airtime Web UI does not know about. The Fade options in the GUI will not work. We will have an officially supported random song feature (with fading) scheduled for the future.

Hi Ed, I've attached the script for you here. It's actually in the git repository, not in that package you downloaded. You may have to run "chmod a+x airtime-nuke.sh" on the file to make it executable

How to delete some audio files ?
If you look into /srv/airtime/stor (default library directory), you will see all your files organized there. If you remove these files, Airtime will automatically detect this and remove them from the Airtime library.

Hi, Thanks for raising this issue. We are redoing the Show Builder from scratch for Airtime 2.1 and so this will be fixed then. Unfortunately we cannot squeeze this fix into 2.0 which is mere days away from release.

Compatible Audio drivers (OSS)
In our Airtime 2.0 you can choose to use OSS, instead of Alsa. We have a beta2 available for download. Otherwise you are stuck with Alsa for the Airtime 1.9.x series.

Early January most likely. We will have a few release candidates before then that will be production quality though.

There is a simple workaround for now: Copy the file to /srv/airtime/stor/organize, and Airtime will automatically import it into its library.
