Wait for the previous show to end
These are really good points...so if I understand correctly, we should allow a show to end without interupting it if it goes over its allocated time block. A warning will appear notifying the user to set their cuepoints if they don't want this …

AirTime running in a different subdirectory
Hi, As far as I'm aware you need to have Airtime installed as the doc root of your server. You should be able to use Apache vhost to change the port however so could access mysite.edu:8080 and it wouldn't interfere with Wordpress.

2.0.1 can not streaming to icecast2
Have you been able to connect to that icecast stream with other source players? Do you have access to the icecast server? Go in there and double-check /etc/icecast2/icecast.xml file for the user credentials.

Does your password have any weird characters in it? We have a bug in 2.0.1 that is fixed in 2.0.2 regarding strange characters. The icecast username/password is passed from the Web UI into /etc/airtime/liquidsoap.cfg. Can you see if it was properly …

I think your method of creating a symlink is wrong. Does it work when you do it this way? sudo mkdir /media/usb/airtime cd /srv/airtime/sudo mv stor /media/usb/airtime/sudo ln -s /media/usb/airtime/stor stor

Can you try slightly modifying the Name/Description field, save the changes, and look at the liquidsoap.cfg file again. If the file is still not updated, then please post the last minute of /var/log/airtime/pypo/pypo.log

Strange. The configuration that you put into the web UI is then saved into /etc/airtime/liquidsoap.cfg. Liquidsoap then reads this file when it starts. Can you look into there to see if it is correct. In your case look at the S2 (stream #2) variabl…

Hi Rick, Sorry about that, I had assumed you installed the tarball instead of the debian package. Since you have the Debian package, you should be able to just type liquidsoap 'output.icecast(%vorbis, host = "localhost", port = 8000, …

Naomi found the problem. Remove this line from /usr/share/airtime/public/.htaccess or/etc/apache2/sites-available/airtime (or both if it appears in both :)

Hi Andrey, Custom user profiles will be implemented in the future. Currently you would need to customize code yourself to use this.

Here all is....slow and painful but there are some great features to be implemented
Hi Rafael, Some of your points have already been addressed in the upcoming Airtime 2.1. For example, you can select multiple playlist items and schedule/delete them. Also upcoming is a random playlist feature, as well as the ability to generate play…

Run that from the terminal. It should create a mount on the icecast server and then you can hear a sine wave (it's a monotonous hum)

I suspect there is something wrong with your configuration. Try the following: /usr/lib/airtime/pypo/bin/liquidsoap_bin/liquidsoap 'output.icecast(%vorbis, host = "localhost", port = 8000, user = "hackme" password = "ha…

Anyone else with this issue? It seems the problem is related to icecast server. Perhaps a quick restart of this service (sudo service icecast2 restart), will fix it. Is this for the debian package version of Airtime, or the tarball?

Auto install- The following packages have been kept back: airtime
Hi, This happens when the dependencies of a update to a package are different from the one you already have installed. For Airtime 2.0.1 we have some new package dependencies. You can fix this simply by doing sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Hi Albert, For now just backup your custom script before upgrading. You should only have to do it every few weeks. Since we are working hard on new features maybe you won't need a custom script in a few months :)
