Dual installation
There is no limit. Both products use apache and you need to define different server name in apache virtual host config files.

Забыл добавить, что для запуска 4.3 необходимо установить пакет php5-intl Но, в любом случае, рекомендую попробывать сначала 4.2.4

да, есть проблема с 4.3 Попробуйте установить 4.2.4: https://github.com/sourcefabric/Newscoop/releases/download/4.2.4/newscoop-4.2.4.tar.gz 4.3 рекомендую ставить когда выйдет 4.3.1

about theme. It's a problem of wrong zip file. You need to extract manually the files from zip into themes/unassigned folder.

It's a known issue. You need to enable debate plugin before upgrade to 4.2.4

remove all php stuff: apt-get autoremove --purge php.* and install it again: apt-get install phpmyadmin After that restart apache - site should work.

The php executable could not be found, add it to your PATH environment variable it means that php cli is not available from apache server

As I know shared hosting doesn't allow to install any additional software except scripts. You should ask hoster support instead.

Install newscoop421 on the hosting. Problems
1. zend api conflict is a provider problem. It isn't newscoop related issue. 2. during installation newscoop overwrites .htaccess by htaccess file (see root folder). You should add php handler there also and try to reinstall.

I have no idea how to start newscoop on windows. You should use virtual linux box on your windows machine. Google it: installing ubuntu on windows virtualbox

hi Michel,I get: .InsertIPAddress is 20 characters too long. not IPv6 ready this forum ;-) back to IPv4 for this replay thanks for info - fixed re: CentOS. This distro is not supported. Ubuntu is primary for all airtime releases.
