Newscoop login fail

Hello,We're having an issue with a workplace wide login issue. I believe that we host our newscoop through a private site. After entering the login information newscoop loads to a blank page.

blank page means a error on server side. Check apache error log file

Yeah, I don't even know what that is, let alone how to find it.
