hello, currently Airtime doesn't support any plugin api unfortunately. You can implement simple script that will check events table in database by cron.

PHP could be any 5.3.x version. As I suggested already using xcache as opcode accelerator. Suhosin patch is optional (ubuntu uses by default) So, no more engine side additions.
