Error Help
  • Manage to get newscoop up and running on xampp 1.7.3 but after following the manual up to creating an article I'm getting the following errors:

No article types were defined. You must create an article type first.

    ************

Notice: Undefined index: IdLanguage in /opt/lampp/htdocs/newscoop/classes/Issue.php on line 717

Notice: Undefined index: Number in /opt/lampp/htdocs/newscoop/classes/Issue.php on line 717

Don't think article types are a problem just need to define some first (problem comes from the definition of what an article type is, I need more reading on this).

The other two errors I need help with.

I can not reproduce it (I have error_reporting = E_ALL). I'm not sure but may be it's specific for XAMP.
To prevent notices just change error_reporting to E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE and restart Apache server.
  • that seems to have made them disappear (for now).
  • Still having some problems so I made a movie showing what is going wrong as I think it is easier for you to help if watch the movie. It's certainly a lot easier than me trying to explain it.

Thanks for taking the time to view movie and helping solve this.
