Add new author type in Newscoop?

    Is there a way to add a new author type in Newscoop? Currently the author management gives me the options listed in the screenshot. I want to be able to add Translator to the list. I thought these could be freely defined? If not, I'll file a ticket...

    You can, although obviously is not clear. Go to the author managment screen, you will see there a "Filters" link on the right of the search field in the left side of the screen. Click on it and the list of author types will be displayed, together with the field to add a new type.

    It's hidden by default... i think the toggle action is ok for the filter, not for adding a new type though.

    I think it shouldn't be hidden by default personally - I'll make a ticket for 3.5.1
