Problems with search form

    Hi,

    i'm having some problems with the search form ...

    I have a publication with more than 300 issues and more than 30000 articles.

    1) When i do a search for a word it takes more than 1 minute to return the list of articles ... if i restrict the search using the issue drop down it is fast enough.

    2) in section drop down i can find the label to translate -- ALL SECTION -- cannot find it for the issue drop down it is displaying empty

    3) is it possible to exclude some sections from the search? i would like to search all sections except my agenda section

    Hi Nelson,

    1. Could you please enable slow logs in MySQL and send me a sample of that
    log after running a slow search?

    2. I don't understand

    Hi,

    hope you still follow this ... lots of thing happening here ...

    1 - you can see in attachment mysql slow logs.

    2 - in a search form i have:
    {{ camp_select object="search" attribute="issue" }}

    what i want is to translate the "ALL" option from this drop down

    Hi Nelson,

    Thank you for the mysql logs!

    Regarding the search form popup list I don't see the "ALL" word in the
    issues list - please see the attached screenshot. There is the "ALL
    SECTIONS" text in the sections list and this can be translated in the
    Campsite localizer in the admin interface: menu -> Configure -> Localizer,
    the "User subscription sections" screen. This text is already localized for
    Portuguese. The translation displayed depends on the publication default
    language or the language selected in the URL. E.g.:
    http://site.com/pt/issue/

    I didnt explain correctly what i wanted in the search form ...

    in the section dropdown the default option is: -- ALL SECTION --

    I want the same behaviour in the issue dropdown: default option -- ALL ISSUES -- and be able to localize it of course.

    There is no string for the issues list, there's nothing to localize.
