[livesupport-dev] a complete list of metadata names?
  • Doug,

For documenting the search feature, I'd need the authoritive, complete
list of metadata type names that we're going to support. Do I assume
correctly that this is the 'Tech 3293 name' column (column C) in the
'Music_Raw fields' sheet in the metadadata_fields.xls you posted the
    last time to the list?

    Hi,

Yes, the spreadsheet document in CVS titled 'Metadata Fields' contains all
    metadata fields for LiveSupport 1.0.

This document can be found in the CVS at
    http://netfinity-5.mdlf.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/livesupport/doc/gui/metadataFields.xls

Please note that in later versions of the document, the label has been
changed 'LS Field Name (based on Tech3293)'.

ok. we need an export of these values to some more sensible document
    format, that developers also read.

Tomas: where does your documentation of the PHP XML-RPC interface go? is
it generated by make doc in the livesupport document?

    Yes - it's in XR_LocStor class.
Is it OK or it's better to create some separate document?

it would be OK there, but I can't find the documentation anywhere in the
    generated doxygen docs:

    http://livesupport.campware.org/public_html/doc/doxygen/html/classXR__LocStor.html

or, maybe I'm just too blind Smile

(I was expecting to see it in the header of the document...)
