Tutorial how to make Debian Wheezy php 5.5 work with airtime 2.5.2.1

    Hello,

    Can someone please post a tutorial how to make Debian Wheezy php 5.5 work with airtime 2.5.2.1?  or at least 2.5.1?  php 5.4 is starting to be too large of a security risk.

    Actually, 5.6.  Security is ending for 5.5 in only 3 months.

    What /exactly/ are your security issues with php 5.4/5.6?

    If there is something the larger community should know about, please let us know, otherwise i personally (a bit of a novice, admittedly) am not aware of a groundbreaking php exploit.

    I'm using airtime 2.5.1 on wheezy with php 5.5.37. The only problem I ran into was php-apc dependency. I needed to change this to php5-apcu. I can post a tutorial to get a new "private" .deb package for this, but I first ask if someone is able to say if there is a plan to create an updated .deb in the repository?

    Don't think APC is critical at all, is it? It was only added to help nudge Airtime along on an original single core Raspberry.
