can you please tell if newscoop good for high traffic sites with large pages( more than 20 blocks of articles from different categories and issues ), and what is the suitable servers configurations.

Yes it is. But you need invest some time in proper templates caching configuration. Server depends from your peak load.

200 pageview/s requires to optimize not only newscoop but server components also. Caching should be applied correctly on all levels: visitor's browser, reverse proxy (nginx), php opcode caching, newscoop (content and db data), mysql server.
