    Hello,

    i just start with airtime and i have a question about shoutcast does i need to install shoutcast or shoutcast come with the installation of airtime ?

    Hi

    Shoutcast is not an open source software
    you need to install it for streaming
    but you can use icecast2 for streaming in ogg/mp3/aac/opus too

    You can either get a
    • free hosting (very unreliable no guarantee) and most with ads
    • Host for yourself if your ISP allow (still have to pay your bill and most time the ISP will charge for the additional bandwidth ) or on a VPS
    • purchase space on some hosting services 

    Nothing is free if you are going to use it meaningful

    Even Manner from Heaven Requires you to either give up time (time is money) and have something (a vessel like even your body) to receive it.

    Icecast is just the software (open source use it freely) which is either done by you or remote hosting

    None of these are free

    But Start right if you want to do anything meaningful in radio,Hop over and try Airtime Pro.it takes all the stress off you.

    The cost is well worth it.

    So remember you can use the software freely is different from the software is free,some body did something for you to have it so contribute in time,donate to the project or suggestions to improve it
