Recently wanted to try and install airtime and stream things around the house. Installed it on my Ubuntu box and got the Apache2 default page. Decided to remove it. "Sudo apt-get remove --purge airtime" localhost still shows my default apache2 page. I would just uninstall apache2 but I have an Icecast server running which I would like to keep. Yet I need to run xampp to work on a web service I'm building.
The Apache virtual Hosts files need setting back to defaut (easy). Google it and set them back to default. Beware if you are using ubuntu 14.04 the file formats have changed slightly.
