there is no long i have tried to install on
centos,
debain
ubuntu,
same if not more errors,
getting rather confused over it now,
Adding user timidity to group audio
Done.
* Stopping TiMidity++ ALSA midi emulation... No timidity found running; none killed.
Setting up rabbitmq-server (2.7.1-0ubuntu4) ...
Starting rabbitmq-server: FAILED - check /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_{log, _err}

this is on a fresh install,

Are you using Ubuntu 12.04 and PHP 5.4x ?
Availability of PHP 5.4x is becoming a problem as its between the LTS versions.
No longer using Airtime or Libretime.

would it be best to install a previous version if php, in that case, ( and not update it )

You do need 5.4.
I was expecting you to say 5.5
No longer using Airtime or Libretime.
