airtime interface frozen when trying to edit live show
  • Hello,
I'm new to airtime and not sure if this is the right place to post this question, so please redirect me into correct one.
I installed airtime using airtime-easy-setup package on Debian 7 and I'm testing this software and so far is great with one problem.
I've configured shows for 2 weeks without any issues, uploaded 7GB of data but when I try to edit live show my browser gets stuck and I can't even login again.

Here are some of the information about my hardware:

I'm testing this software on AWS using m3.medium instance and not sure if there are some settings that I can tweak or just change to higher instance?
Have anybody worked with this software on AWS and have some advices?
    Greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Hello,
I have small update as I created new instance using c3.large in AWS which has 2 vCPU's (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v2 @ 2.80GHz) & 3.75GB of RAM using Debian 7, installed fresh instance of airtime, restored db and data from the old instance and it seems that now I can smoothly edit show that is currently playing.
Does that mean that airtime is more CPU bound than memory?
Does anyone have any tips as for performance of this program?

I want to also say that I love it, very simple and it works. Kudos for people who are involved in work on this software.

    Thank you,
    zibiland

Most of the time an issue is located between keyboard and chair.
  • Is there a real difference when I go through that process manually than installing airtime with airtime-easy-setup ?
