Server failed after routine update - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

This morning I have performed the regular routine ongoing software update in Ubuntu 12.04 and it updated Airtime as part of the process. It upgraded from 2.5.1 to 2.5.2 and now the server doesn't load.

The web interface is uncontactable, icecast doesn't load either. It was working perfectly before updating. When I run the airtime-check-system command, it says the LiquidSoap service hasn't started, nor the Media Monitor service or the Playout Engine process. How do i get this fixed?

Note: The update doesn't say it updated the Apache server. Did the update ruin the configuration or virtual hosts of Apache?
Note2: I'm a Linux novice, so if you'd like any more details please supply commands if required.
