on the same server I have Virtualmin/Webmin
(and no the url is not radio.example.com)
I added a foo.php to /usr/share/airtime/public with the content 'bar' and
I can goto http://radio.example.com/foo.php and it displays bar so I know apache is using the corrent folder and the permissions seem to be ok.

all i get is a blank screen, the main folder seem to be a bit ... umm.. empty ...

ls /usr/share/airtime = ...  applications build library locale public tests
    ls /usr/share/airtime/public/ = ... css/ favicon.ico foo.php images/ index.php install/ js/ robots.txt
    ls /usr/share/airtime/public/install/ = .. clearstatcache.php

Yeah, we may do that in the future when we go with shortwave. But figured out it was just easy to go with airtime pro instead.

For others, the error was a conflict with the libraries that airtime uses and the other service running on the same server, I don't think running airtime on it's own server is really needed, but you need to give priourity to the sources.list that airtime uses, and drop any that cause conflicts.
  • That looks like the error list you get when you install AT on Ubuntu 14, instead of 12.04lts. Airtime vs PHP 5.5 screws everything up, for a start.
No longer using Airtime or Libretime.

Looks like Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. What version of Airtime did you install?
