Is a 1st generation i3-540 3.06GHz H/T efficient enough to support 3 installations of Airtime to stream to thousands of users?

How much RAM, uplink speed and bandwidth is required to stream to thousands of users?

Any help is appreciated.

Bandwidth and uplink speed are straightforward calculations. Take a look at the the documentation for Airtime for the server requirements (recommends 1 GB RAM or more per installation) http://sourcefabric.booktype.pro/airtime-25-for-broadcasters/preparing-the-server/

bandwidth = stream bandwidth * number of users (e.g. 64kbps * 3000, or 1.92Gbps)
you would need an uplink speed of about 2 gigabits per second.

Be safe!! Be SURE to separate your Icecast server from your Airtime server. Put them on totally different machines.
