Sintax error on airtime-vhost.conf causes error in Airtime installation
  • Hi!
I'm getting this error when tinstalling Airtime 2.5.1 on Lubuntu 13, that causes installation to abort

    * Restarting web server apache2                                         [fail]
     * The apache2 configtest failed.
    Output of config test was:
AH00526: Syntax error on line 13 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/airtime-vhost.conf:
Either all Options must start with + or -, or no Option may.
    Action 'configtest' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.

invoke-rc.d: initscript apache2, action "restart" failed.
    ...
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

    Line 13 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/airtime-vhost.conf is
     Options -Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews

If I modify this line, apache2 starts correctly:
    Options -Indexes +FollowSymLinks +MultiViews

But anyway airtime package installation is broken and if I try to reinstall the package, the problem appears again. Is there any way that I could override this error?

    Thanks!

that's not an error, apache2 configuration have changed,
Airtime installation is not recommended after the 12.04
the next version correcting this problem.

during the install process refuse vhost modification, Airtime will install itself with no problems :-)
