Backup & Restore Does Not Work - Newscoop Development Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hello

The problem is that the directory /var/lib/newscoop/files does not exist.
When files/ was moved to public/files/ they didn't change it in the
backup and restore scripts

Presumably this means absolutely no-one is able to use the Backup / Restore function in the GUI or the command line. I find this hard to believe.
I need to move my temporary installation to a dedicated server but it seems this is impossible. Come on people - surely someone must know the answer to this....?

it will be fixed in 4.2.2. For now you can try replace newscoop/bin/newscoop-restore file with this latest 4.2 branch version: https://raw.github.com/sourcefabric/Newscoop/9b08da64b7209c50b8399e6159db2c460c87a2ec/newscoop/bin/newscoop-restore
