Problems adding a webstream to library: Unrecognized stream type: text/html - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hi,

When i want to add webstream to library, I input fields Description, Stream URL and Default length, but when I click "Save", there's a line under the Description box saying: "Unrecognized stream type: text/html" and nothing else happens. Is this a bug or am I missing something. I'm using 2.2RC1.

your stream name would be .mp3 .ogg or .pls, nothing else

Actually, stream like http://6093.live.streamtheworld.com/CBC_R1_TOR_H_SC works too, and Webstream doesn't support download-and-play file(mp3,...) currently.

"stream name" is the top thing above "Description" field? and that needs to be exactly ".ogg" - just this?

When i wrote ".ogg" in Description field it worked.
