  • If you are referring to the line:

2013/05/06 02:35:15 [shoutcast_stream_1:3] Metadata update may have failed
    with error: bad answer

Then this is OK. SHOUTcast protocol is not well defined, and changing
often. Liquidsoap team has acknowledged this error message but apparently
    it is harmless.

  • Highly suggest hopping aboard the Icecast train. Shoutcast development is basically dead, ya'll.

  • I have a same problem. But I see that the second stream connected and streaming to second server. I tried to change server settings with first or third server settings but i got same error message with different servers.

    The "buttlefly-effect" to system:
The problem is if the internet connection is lost the stream won't work becasuse stoppet streaming on second server too though the internal network connection is stable. Also the ON-AIR button state is instable.

I tried that I switch to disable first and third servers, I got "bad answer" message on second stream but then connected to local icecast server and streaming normally.

If i disable the second server, ON-AIR button switch to normal red state

Its best to state your specific problem in another thread and refer this post as similar.

Some of these post are old and it makes no sense reading everything just to come to your problem.

You will see the benefits of opening your own post, interms of solutions and for members and moderators to help you
