Airtime audio fails daily

    Well that version has reintroduced the original bug, it also seems to be worse. In the mean time I'm going to rollback to the first build I had.

    What problems did you find? The Liquidsoap team is working towards a stable
    1.1.1 release, and any bug reports at this stage would go a long way...

    This version has fixed the crashing bug I was getting in 1.1 but its reintroduced the issue with audio failing throughout the night, in the same way as I don't see anything in the logs, this is the same that was was happening with 1.0

    I'll keep digging but I don't have anymore to give you at the moment.

    One more request - is it possible to try Icecast only for the next few days? I wonder if Liquidsoap is somehow failing after streaming to SHOUTcast for an extended period of time.

    I can confirm that all was well in airtime 2.3.0. After I upgraded the issue came up.

    OK the next time this happens, please do the following from a terminal:

    telnet localhost 1234
    queue.queue

    Copy and paste the output here

    I had a flurry of emails from angry mobile phone users and have reverted back to 2.3.0. I am in the process of rebuilding our test server and will load 2.3.1 on their and signup for a free shoutcast server to continue testing.

    Liquidsoap 1.1.1 final has been released. We will release our Debian packages soon, but in the meantime it would be great if you could compile your own Liquidsoap again and see if the daily silence bug is still affecting you.

    Hard to say,
    I were using 2.1 for long time on 32bit then went to 2.4.1. Really can't tell you more then I know.

    I just experienced the same problem.  I came in this morning to hear dead air.  The Airtime interface indicated that it was actively streaming a song.  I connected via the master source and was able to Live broadcast, however switching back to scheduled play, resulted in dead air until I rebooted the server.

    Could you please upload the whole log zip here? Also please dump a snapshot for database here.

    You could use airtime-log for zipped log and sudo -u postgres pg_dump airtime > db.sql for DB dump.
