strange error using rss and &

RSS error message is - <xls:title disable-output-escaping="yes">&</xls:title>

the same code is used here - http://pharmatoday.net/en/static/rss - which works

hi -
we use {{ $gimme->article->name|escape }} everywhere, '&' sign is properly
escaped then.

ive just installed a backup from last week of this site onto my testing domain - www.pharmatoday.net

added an & to the first story and the rss works fine

www.pharmatoday.net/en/static/rss_manufacturing

is there something in the set up of the domain that needs changing
