multiple languages - Newscoop Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hi,
I am using the code from http://sourcefabric.booktype.pro/newscoop-41-cookbook/sites-in-multiple-languages/ to enable language switching. Unfortunately using the exact code as listed, <a href="{{ url }}/">{{ $gimme->language->name }}</a> results in url/language-code/issue// instead of url/language-code/issue/ - the double // of course doesn't work. I'm just starting to look at smarty, so I'm not sure what's going on underneath, but it seems like something in the php smarty is pulling from.

anyone know the quick fix for this?

Hello,

instead of this <a href="{{ url }}/">{{ $gimme->language->name }}</a>

put this <a href="{{ url }}">{{ $gimme->language->name }}</a>

wow, that's pretty obvious. mega-brain-fart - shoot me now. okay, so there's a code typo in the manual at the link above, in the 4.1 cookbook pdf and presumably in the flossmanual site's manual as well.
