At least as far as I can tell from the documentation, the "live assist" support seems limited

to rearranging playlists on the fly?

What if I want to do some live talking (of unknown length) between two songs - so i want to pause the playlist,

and just use the live input stream with my voice (or some guest's) and then resume the playlist.

Or perhaps I want to have overlap mixing between the live input stream, and the pre-recorded playlist?

It seems that if I really want any kind of "semi-automation", then I need to use something like mixxx,

and just use airtime as a dumb icecast relay?

Or am I missing something?
