add an SMB Watched media folder
  • Hi All,

I have an Thecus N5200 NAS on the network which contains all the media files.

Now I want to connect Airtime to this NAS but I cannot figure out how to add an network disk.
When I drag the path to the network disk into the Watched Folders area list and click Add there happens nothing, and I get no error message.

    I have Ubuntu 12.10
the folder on the NAS has ACL enabled.

    Kind Regards,

    Ian

Could you please try to run:
    sudo airtime-import --watch-add your_nas_mount

    and see what's happen?

  • Hi,

Sorry to bust in on this thread but I am having the same issue... I have a Nas4Free Samba share with 1.8TB of music files. The share is mounted to the Airtime installation using mount with the -t cifs option.

When I run  airtime-import --watch-add mynasmount i get nothing, it simply returns to the prompt immediately.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, we would love to use your software!
