Internal Server Error after installation

    I've a problem a problem after installation of Newscoop. Server responde with a message:

    "Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, postmaster@cibrario.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

    In the server error log find message:

    " /web/htdocs/www.cibrario.com/home/.htaccess: Option Indexes not allowed here"

    My site is installed at http://lnx.cibrario.com/

    How can I resolve this problem?

    Hi Alfredo,

    It depends on your host provider, try to do this: Edit the .htaccess file in the root directory of Newscoop and comment out the 3rd line:

    # Options -Indexes FollowSymLinks -MultiViews

    But make sure your those same options are set in the apache configuration for your site.

    That should work, at least in theory :-) Let us know.
