how to put javascript code for schedule info into wordpress site - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hello,

i've tried to put the javascript below into our wordpress site (the free version) of www.radio0n.wordpress.com

but it just appears as text on the site instead of the radio schedule,

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how it should be done ?

I think you can embed foreign code into wordpress.com subsites

you need a "true" install of wordpress to do that

Thanks i'm using the free version of wordpress and it doesn't seem to work

Unsure what you mean by a true install, as im using it from within safari browser,

no you can't with wordpress.com solution

you can do this (as Martin give you the link) on a true install of wordpress

Open the html file with a regular text editor and insert the script. Or try looking around on Google for how to insert javascript using Dreamweaver.

Hello Adrian,

The problem is you embedded everything inside a <script type="text/javascript"> tag so it can't work. <script> tags can't be nested.

In my case, I have everything in the <head> section (except the <div's> of course) and it works fine.
