Two questions about Airtime

    Hello there Sourcefabric.

    I feel silly because I e-mailed these questions to you on your website's e-mail address before I found this handy forum, so I apologise for repeating myself, but I thought I'd post it here just incase this was your preferred method of communication re: technical know-how.

    Two things re: Airtime

    1) If I'm running Airtime on a remote VPS, and I have a studio here at
    home which I'd like to do live shows from - is it possible link that
    all in with a scheduled show somehow? For example, is it possible to
    stream my studio feed to one Icecast server, and get Airtime to
    connect to that and listen to it as apart of a schedule programme and
    re-broadcast that out? Or is this something that is definitely not
    possible?

    2) I'm super impressed with the Soundcloud integration. Is there
    anything in the works for Mixcloud integration? I find it a far more
    versatile and appropriate platform for podcasts and radio shows Smile

    This is currently scheduled for Airtime 2.1.0 release:

    As for mixcloud integration, there is nothing in the works for this at the moment.

    This is super fantastic! It's really cool being able to look at these future versions and see whats going to be add. Are these due dates eg. 26/Jul/11 for 2.1.0 usually accurate?

    That date was not accurate, I have just updated it. Note that the dates are
    ballpark figures, each release is set 6 weeks apart.

    Things have moved on quite a bit since june 2011. Most of the major djs, dance labels and music podcasters now have mixcloud accounts. Any chance that Mixcloud integration could be looked at again

    How exactly would you like to see Mixcloud supported. The same way as with SoundCloud right now? At the moment the SoundCloud integration involves simply being able to upload files in Airtime to your SoundCloud account.

    I can parse from xml,json,rss and http feeds.
    I looked at mixcloud and it look somewhat diffucult unless you were given access to Mixcloud (which I do not think is possible) because the genre seems to open seperate html pages.

    Guide me if you have any knowledge on how you would proceed

    It seem much easier to do podcast than from most of these cloud sites

    Also you could put this under one of the request pages
