Does anybody know if there is an app that I can add to a Facebook Page which will act as a 'radio player' for my Airtime/Icecast stream? I've tried searching the web for one but can't find anything, but I'm convinced there should be something out there which will do the trick..
Hello! FB is decidedly not a friend of radios. Repeat -- radio has nothing to gain from a FB page. Nothing! Someone please explain what good having 10k+ "likes" is if you can't send a message to all 10k followers without paying literally hundreds of dollars? And more to the point, likes can be purchased, plain and simple. Don't down vote, seek the truth. There are dozens of better ways to connect with fans old and new. :)>-
John -- you've charmingly evaded my main point! :x
To reach 10k followers, I've been presented with invoices for hundreds of dollars. Are you disputing this behavior? Has Facebook recently revised their marketing policies to allow radios to target new potential listeners for free or at a substantially reduced rate? Do they barter? And who exactly audits FB's *self-produced* impression counts for accuracy, anyway?
The truth is, hundreds of dollars would be better spent reaching real people in the real world with physical marketing via digital billboards, newspaper spots, and the like.
I just use woo box app within my Facebook page and added this <center><iframe src="http://a2zen.fm/listen-now/" style="border:0px black solid;" name="Listen Now" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" align="center" height="200px" width="350px">
