I have installed ubuntu 11.04 on a windows machine using Vmware player i then extracted airtime 2.1.3 into my home directory. I then went to the terminal and pasted cd ~/airtime-2.1.3/install_full/ubuntu/

sudo ./airtime-full-install  it then asked [sudo] password for user I typed password as this is what the vmware doc states. it then gives the message sudo: ./airtime-full-install: command not found. Any ideas where I have gone wrong

I recommend using preinstalled iso-image instead of trying to install from scratch.

You need to use "L" instead of "I" (shown in upper case here for readability, but you must use as lower case when actually typing it into the terminal).

Operating Systems that run inside Virtual Machines will be a little slow. You can gain a little speedup by finding your virtual machines IP address (type "ifconfig" in the terminal), and then pasting that IP address into your main machine's browser.

Ended up just booting ubuntu onto the machine.
