Installing Newscoop 4 beta on bluehost

    I know installing newscoop on shared hosting is discouraged. But it should work right? I host on bluehost; downloaded the tarball, extracted it and moved the directory to my http root. When trying to open mysite.com/newscoop I get a blank page.

    Obviously something is not right yet. Can anybody give me some directions?

    First off, make sure that php 5.3 is installed on shared hosting

    Thanks alot. That was the problem

    (although I get errors when logging in, but reported this to the mentioned email address)
