AirTime Sound background

    Hello, i'm trying to use airtime to drive the music bakground of a digital signage screen (made with XIBO).

    Everything made like reported on the home site pages and my playist started correctly ... but no audio out .... nor on the client (i'm using to schedule the playlists) nor on the server.

    PS: I NEED to use the hdmi audio out on my minipc (Sapphire HD2 with Atom 525 and ION2 chipset), so for me is very hard to disable pulseaudio (and pulse is present in the settings menu of airtime .....)

    Any hint?

    Hi,

    Try opening /etc/default/pulseaudio and changing the line

    PULSEAUDIO_SYSTEM_START=0
    to
    PULSEAUDIO_SYSTEM_START=1

    Then reboot your system. and see if that works. The problem here is that Pulseaudio doesn't allow multiple users to access the soundcard if PULSEAUDIO_SYSTEM_START is disabled and our audio player Liquidsoap is running under a different user than the default :).
