  • Hi Steve,

    How did you upload your audio files?

    Did you use the Add Media UI?

    Please attached the media-monitor log

    $ sudo airtime-log -d media-monitor

  • Hi Ofir,

    Yes I upload the files via Media UI, here is the log.

    I don't have hostname for my server Im using ip address, if this can be the problem.

  • Hi Steve,

    Please attach the file /etc/airtime/api_client.cfg
  • Here :/
  • OK,

    the default settings in this file are
    # Hostname
    base_url = 'localhost'
    base_port = 80
    Is your Airtime set to a different url/port?
    If so, please edit the file to match your current settings.
    After edit run
    $ sudo service airtime-media-monitor restart
    and let me know if that works.

    Awesome!

  • Hi guys I'm having the same problem as st3v0 but I can't fix it.

    My /etc/airtime/api_client.cfg has the correct ip and port number - localhost and port 80.

    If I remotely add a file using the GUI the file gets uploaded and I can see it in /srv/airtime/stor/ except it has a little locked icon on it and it doesn't appear in Airtime.

    To upload I've had to VNC into my server and add files by creating a new watched folder and putting versions of the same files in there, which I have to use dropbox to share.  I then have to -  sudo service airtime-media-monitor restart so airtime watched them and they appear in playlist builder.

    So obviously this is a bit cumbersome and defeats the purpose of remotely being able to add to the library.

    What logs should I post? hope you all can help.

    Cheers

  • Any takers for this the problem above?

    Maybe I should clarify?

    -Upload media remotly using GUI
    -Media uploads but does not appear in library
    -VNC into machine and can see media is in
    /srv/airtime/stor/
    -Media file has padlock on it to show permissions issue
    -Life is less good while I have this problem

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    What is the permission on /srv/airtime/stor?
    Thanks
  • Hi James, thanks for the reply and sorry for ridiculously slow response. Finally got some time to look at this install again.

    My /srv/airtime/stor folder permissions are read and write for the owner www-data. Have a look at the attached screen shot. Is this correct?

    Thanks
