Airtime connects to server and starts playing list but after some time "ON AIR" button grays out

    First of all thank you for providing such a wonderfull tool for broadcasters. however, I'm experiencing a very weird issue with airtime 2.0.1.
    Airtime connects to my external shoutcast server, 
    Then starts broadcasting the playlist assigned according to the calendar
    "ON AIR" button turns solid red and you can hear the music from the shoutcast server.
    After some time [say, 2 hours or so] the "ON AIR" button grays out but the playlist keeps on going,
    Airtime stays connected to the shoutcast server as if I go to the Control Panel of the server I can see it say "Airtime Offline".
    After all the above happens I can not get the "ON AIR" button to turn solid red and therefore the playlist plays but no music is broadcasted to the server [I keep receiving "Airtime Offline" on the server's control panel].
    If I run "sudo airtime-check-system" tells me that my installation of Airtime looks OK.
    If I reinstall airtime the problem goes away for a while, then it comes back and I have to reinstall airtime again.
    I'm using Debian Squeeze 64 bits fully updated.

    and yours /var/log/airtime/...
