uninstall airtime 1.9.5
  • hi,

i am trying to uninstall airtime to get a clean start again, so i did apt-get remove airtime, purge and manually removed /srv/airtime.
But in my access.log i can still see:
    "GET /api/version/api_key/SJ1LOYW4YPKMVCK1GJ5Y HTTP/1.0" 404 1806 "-" "Python-urllib/1.17"
    "GET /api/version/api_key/SJ1LOYW4YPKMVCK1GJ5Y HTTP/1.0" 404 1806 "-" "Python-urllib/1.17"
    "GET /api/version/api_key/SJ1LOYW4YPKMVCK1GJ5Y HTTP/1.0" 404 1806 "-" "Python-urllib/1.17"

it could also be a remainder of an earlier manual install attempt.
What else do i need to do to make sure i have uninstalled airtime completely?

    Thanks,
    Ed

Yes, you can remove everything in /opt/pypo

If you really want to make sure everything is uninstalled, you can download the airtime-2.0.0-RC1 package from sourceforge(http://sourceforge.net/projects/airtime/files/) and run /dev_tools/airtime-nuke.sh

It's a new script we've written for just this purpose.

    :)

  • Hmmm. Thanks for the advice Paul. However, i've checked the contents of the RC1 package, but the script you mentioned does not seem to be in there.....

  • Hi Ed,

I've attached the script for you here. It's actually in the git repository, not in that package you downloaded.

You may have to run "chmod a+x airtime-nuke.sh" on the file to make it executable
