can any one please help me with this

i have setup airtime

i wan to use it with both icecast and shoutcast

icecast works fine

on shoutcast it's even showing the song history but when i click on listin it gives error in real player "Service not available"

Where does it show this "song history" you are talking about?

on the shout cast page when i type ip:9000 click on the stream#1 there is link to see song history

When I try to listen to that link I get a username + password required prompt.

I'm not sure about RealPlayer, but I would try testing the stream using another player. Try VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

so what is the issue

should i send the shoutcast config if you can help

I dont think anyone knows what your issue is, other than you seem to be having a problem with Shoutcast. If you could be more specific and clearly describe what you did and what happened after you did it and what you are trying to do, then perhaps someone could help you.

Hi,

we're working side by side with KNG to solve this issue but it seems we both cannot.

Briefly this is the situation

1)Airtime strems correctly through Icecast (.ogg or mp3)

2)We need to stream also through Shoutcast (DNAS 2.0 installed)

3)Shoutcast is up and running and streams metadata correctly

4)When we try to listen with VLC the system requires a user id and a pwd. This is not normal.

5)VLC returns an error saying that cannot open http://64.191.109.166:9000/test.aac.

We do not want stream in aac but in mp3.,

Hope now that the issue looks clearer to all of you in order to help KNG and us to fix.

When you use other tools(besides Airtime) to stream to shoutcast, does shoutcast have this problem? If so, it is a shoutcast issue and you should direct your question to the shoutcast forums.

If it only happens with Airtime and shoutcast, then it might be some Airtime problem. Let us know.

Can you post your liquidsoap.cfg file here? (Remove the username/password info of course)

the issue is resolved with shoutcast V 1.9.8
