Weeks of solid behaviour then...off air
  • We have been using Airtime solidly for about 3 weeks now and have had no
problems. This morning at about 5AM suddenly it suddenly went "off-air". How
can I diagnose this problem? The current playlist is about 12 hours long so
any problematic files would of been skipped now. Any clues?

  • I don't know what version you have. I was trying to troubleshoot this issue as well and speculated maybe the time jumped back. That was version 1.8.2 Unfortunately logging wasn't enabled for ntpd so I don't know the real answer. Now I have upgraded to 1.9.4 and enabled logging so I'll see if it happens again.

  • We are running 1.8.2 and the problem is that if there is a small file (under
10 seconds) at the start of a playlist then the rest of the playlist will
    be silent!

  • 1.8.2 had a problem if there was a track less than 10 seconds long at the end of one show, and this track was tightky squeezed against the beginning of the next show.

  • Sorry quite right at the end.
