Hello again,

Unfortunately today's apache upgrade decided to uninstall the airtime.deb. This should not happen. It deleted everything but the srv/airtime/stor directory.

That definitely should not happen. What version of Airtime was it?

It is 1.8.2-6, I am sticking to deb so it's the one available currently in the repository.

I did have a backup of the database so not much harm was done. But I had to import the database backup first before I reinstalled the airtime.deb.

Hello, which distro are you running, is it Ubuntu lucid 10.04? Did the upgrade script say why the package was removed?

Are you running webmin, or any other hosting control panel on your server? See the bug ticket http://dev.sourcefabric.org/browse/CC-2772 for a possible cause.

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 and yes webmin is also installed on the system. What are the options to avoid a repeat in the future?

Unfortunately I don't remember the output of the upgrade process.

I would suggest removing webmin if that is possible, it has been dropped from both Debian and Ubuntu because of these kinds of problems:
