Login system with Active Directory / LDAP

Hi
I'm looking for a way to use our Active Directory (AD) as a backend for the login system. So instead of creating all the users in the newscoop database I would instead like to log in against the users in the AD using LDAP.
I remember reading something about such a system about 1-2 years ago (when it was Campsite) but couldn't find anything about it and wondered if there is any kind of solution for this problem?
