i decided to use darkice because support ACC format, i am trying to configure the darkice to conect with the streaming server without succes.
i hace two questions:
what it menans the localdumbfile in the darkice configuration file?
do i really need darkice to conect to the streaming server as i was suggested?. Because the company doesnt know airtime and dont know how it works and the only allow format is AAC.

I dont understand why you would be using DarkIce. Normally in this
situation you would connect Airtime (specifically the liquidsoap component)
to Icecast2. To do that, you adjust the config file
/etc/airtime/liquidsoap.cfg, and change the settings such as icecast_host &
etc to the values you've listed below.
