INSTALL AIRTIME
  • Hi, I am new to this. I want to know how to install AIRTIME to UBUNTU 11.04,. I am new to LINUX. I open SYNAPTICS and can 'see' the download on the left column but am unable to get a response to right click as instructed. I would sincerely appreciate any help offered.

It would be helpful if you could let us know where you are planning to go
    with Airtime.

If you are just evaluating it, you can check out a demo here:

If you are planning to run a radio station with it, we do offer hosting
packages and you dont have to worry about installation or maintenance.

  • Hello and thank you for your reply. I do some some local(community) radio work. For some years I streamed from my residence, using XP, ZaraRadio, Cool Edit and Shoutcast, I no longer do this. About a year ago I began 'live' radio and prefer to use my own Laptop as aginst the studio systems for various reasons. I am unable to get ZaraRadio stable on Windows 7, no matter what I do so I have now reset my DELL INSPIRON 1545 with my own tweaked XP and UBUNTU 11.04. I have dabbled very little with LINUX but now want to go that way seriously as what I have seen so far impresses me however I am very knew to LINUX but feel that with some basic directions on the fly I could do this.
