Can you please be more descriptive? I just tried to insert images and previewing the article and it works ok for me. I am running Newscoop 3.5.3 and used Firefox and Chrome.
Please, learn php before ask and fill all the list with simple issues.
Campsite is not a toy that anyone can handle or install and configure.
Your questions indicate that you not know anything about that, so, don't
disturb with these things. Also, when some one ask you about something,
your replies not match the questions. Here, Holman confirm that campsite
run ok, and it was tested with firefox and chrome. But you reply "I use
campsite". This reply has no sense.
So, please, leave to fill the list with these type of questions, or
learn about php, server etc. Also read the manual.

hi normando
for your and other one information
i'm university professor of software
and i know php completely
i do many projects and CMSs
and work with campsite for 1 years
my problem is not refer to php
and i said use Campsite, because he said i test in Newscoop
it may because of version, any way i have trouble
As a very minimum I think the folks on the list would need
- you to do a quick search to see if anyone else asked the same question in another post
- a software and version number (Campsite started in 1999)
- operating system, hardware specs (and browser) where appropriate
- screenshots of the issue
- detailed description of what you are trying to do and the behaviour of the software when it doesn't seem to work (error messages, failing to load, formatting issues or whatever)
That will help everybody to help you. And please remember this is a Newscoop list - not everybody here may be familiar with its predecessor Campsite, so a little patience may be needed.
Hi Adam
the file which i downloaded is Campsite-3.5.0-rc1.tar.gz
i use body textarea which is type of WYSIWYG editor, and when i try to insert an image it show in the text area "body" , but after i preview in issue its not shown i have a screenshot of one of them, as below file attached.
i check in IE,Chrome and firefox but in all of them i found same view
my software in on the Linux server
when i check the HTML code of image , every thing is ok and the image is available
other part of campsite is OK and works
and the other problem that may help you is about article gallery, photos that i attached to article show in below but without their caption, and when i click on one of the it just open in the whole page and not show as slide show , which is like your demo on website
really thanks for your attention me
and i really have a hard trouble about it
please help me as soon as possible
RC packages are what the name says: release candidates. Which means they
_have_ bugs. Also, we do not support RC packages. If you want support please
install a stable version (e.g. Newscoop 3.5.3)

The more changes you make to your Campsite installation the harder it will be to get it upgraded to Newscoop latest stable version, so the sooner you do it the better
We do not provide patches for this purpose, please have a look at the manual on how upgrading works in Newscoop. So, I would suggest:
1- Backup your installation. Use bin/campsite-backup but I would recommend also to make a package of all files (by using tar against the Campsite document root). There is no need to include a database dump file as campsite-backup takes care of it.
2- Make your own patches for the changes you have made
3- Upgrade to latest Newscoop 3.5.3. Read the manual in order to learn how to do it.
4- Restore the backup you created with campsite-backup
5- Apply your patches.
If your site is already running in a production environment, I would strongly recommend to do all this first in a replica. Once you are sure the procedure is ok and your site is upgraded and runs successfully then you can plan when to do it in the production server.
