Need help to setup and configure

    Did anyone succeed installing the latest version 4.4.7 in production? 

    What I've tried:

    Result: Old version 4.2 working fine, until I try to change the template theme, then I get white screen. (I'll try updating legacy plugins soon)

    Result: Latest version but with 2 major problems: 
    1. black screen (if I create at least one issue)
    2. if at least 1 issue is created, publication is not editable

    3. Upgrading 4.2 to 4.4.7 (tried a couple ways, failed all the time; will try a couple more times)

    Is there a smooth way of getting a production-ready setup?
